Work great, leds are bright and have been working for over a month now without any issues. I also have to mention their toughness on soldering temperature, didnt use DIP sockets, soldered very close to the body of the chip and worked without any problems. Great value and great price too! Nick Price Quality Value Mar 4, 2013 Perfect for low power applications I used 8 of these for an 8x8x8 LED cube and they worked great. The only drawback is that if you want to be able to turn on all of the outputs at once, the current needs to be limited to 6ma per pin. But on the plus side, I made a few mistakes while wiring them up the first time and shorted pins together briefly on more than one occasion with no permanent damage done.
