The traditional 555. Ok it uses more power than the CMOS version. But for value I wouldnt look any further

Great 555 Timer Incredible price!
Before I found this site, I bought this same exact chip from a high end retail store for about $3, and the chip failed. I got the same chip here for 30x less, and they all work great.
I use this chip in many of my projects, and all of them work great.
I’ve built bike lights, an LED chaser, even birthday cards with these great little chips.
